THE QUEEN SONJA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITION 16-26 AUGUST 2011
The Queen Sonja International Music Competition is an international music competition which is organized every second year in Oslo, Norway, for singers from all over the world. The goal of the Competition is to help young singers develop their careers. Prizewinners receive significant prize money, opera and concert conctracts and, not least, exposure to an enthusiastic audience in auditoriums and in front of television screens. The next competition will be arranged in Oslo in August 2011. The application deadline for the next competition is 1 March 2011, and the competition will be open for all singers born after 1 January 1979.
